I am alive!!!

This email is gonna be super fast, but I am going to be transferred this next week to a different area! I will finish the training of Elder Rodriguez which is going to be great! Nothing much happened this week, but I had a great week with Elder Hamann and Elder G. Santos...it was our last week together! I'll send some pics next week, they haven't sent them to me yet! Have a great week!

Infelizmente eu não tenho um titulo essa semana

Sorry I missed last week...I totally spaced typing a group email! This week though has been pretty average, not much to report. We worked this week making contacts, teaching people, and helping where we could. I can speak and have conversations in Portuguese easily and now its getting harder to think of synonyms in English because the words just come in Portuguese! In other words my English vocab is gonna need some work when I get back! 

This last Sunday was awesome when we got to church because we saw we had almost all of our investigators at church! BUT, one minute before sacrament meeting started, the Bishop came up to me and asked me to speak for 7 minutes in front of everyone!!! I was super nervous because it was my first talk in Portuguese and I didn't even have time to prepare! In the end, I came through and gave a talk about our Saviors love for us for 9 minutes. THAT'S RIGHT! 2 minutes more than I was asked to! I'm an overachiever! What can I say!? 

I know that the Savior loves each and everyone of us unconditionally and always will.

Previously on The Adventures of Elder Rich...

This week went by super fast...just like every other! 2 years that effects your body like 20, but passes by like 2 days! This week equaled 7 months out here on my mission, which is crazy... I feel like I just got here! Aleanderson was baptized this week! WooHoo! We've been working wtih him for the past month-ish and he finally got to be baptized and confirmed this past Saturday and Sunday. This work is amazing! 

We also had another investigator receive their answer to be baptized! So, next week we are doing what we can to get his baptism ready. It's crazy how God prepares people to be taught by the missionaries. Sometimes you just have to show up and people already want to be baptized! Its a crazy world of miracles out here in the mission and it is WONDERFUL!
